Refund policy

Your reading experience matters to us. If a book you ordered doesn't meet the standard, our straightforward return and refund process is here to help.

1. What Products Can Be Returned

We accept returns for books that are in new, unread condition — meaning the spine has not been cracked, pages have not been marked or highlighted, and the book has not been damaged in any way after delivery.

The following items are non-returnable under any circumstances:

  • Final sale or clearance items
  • Items marked as non-returnable on the product page
  • Books that have been read, written in, highlighted, or damaged after delivery
  • Digital products, e-books, or download codes once accessed
  • Items missing original packaging, dust jacket, or any included accessories (bookmarks, inserts, etc.)

2. Return Timeframe

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

3. Item Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return, books must be unread and in their original condition — no cracked spines, no annotations, no damage to the cover or pages, and all original packaging and accessories (dust jacket, inserts, etc.) must be included.

4. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, contact us at support@bookbuyerz.com with your order number. Once approved, we will provide you with the return address and full instructions. Please include your receipt or order confirmation, and package the book(s) securely to prevent damage in transit.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged or incorrect. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

6. International Returns

Our return process for international orders depends on the reason for the return:

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items:
If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect book, no physical return is required. Simply contact us at support@bookbuyerz.com with your order number and clear photos of the item and issue. Once verified, we will issue a full refund or send a replacement at no additional cost to you.

Change of mind or wrong title:
If you would like to return a book due to a change of mind or ordering the wrong title, the item must be physically returned to our U.S. warehouse. International return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Please contact us first at support@bookbuyerz.com to receive the return address and instructions before sending your package.

Please note: We do not cover customs duties, taxes, or fees associated with international return shipments. Books must be returned in their original, unread condition with all packaging intact.

7. Partial Returns

If your order contains multiple books, you may return one or more titles without returning the entire order. Refunds will be issued only for the returned book(s) that meet our return conditions. Original shipping fees and any non-returned items will not be refunded.

8. Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees for returned books that meet our return conditions. However, if a returned book does not comply with our policy (e.g., read, annotated, damaged, or missing original packaging), we reserve the right to apply a restocking fee or reject the return.

9. Refunds

Refunds are processed within 10 business days after we receive your return. They are issued to the original payment method. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

10. Exchanges

We are happy to accept exchanges. To proceed, please return your original purchase and place a new order for the title you'd like instead.
